The rates published on goldrateIndia.info are benchmark figures sourced from IBJA. They are provided for information. They are not an offer to buy or sell gold, not a quotation, and not a guarantee of the price any jeweller will give you. Always confirm the current rate with your jeweller before a transaction.
What the figures exclude
Published rates are the metal rate only. They exclude making charges, wastage, hallmarking fees and GST. The actual amount you pay will be higher, usually by 12–20%. See the methodology for detail.
Calculators are estimates
The calculators on this site produce estimates from the figures you enter. They cannot know a particular jeweller’s wastage policy, stone charges or shop-specific rates. Use them to sense-check a quotation, not as a substitute for one.
